Bonaire is an island territory in the Western Caribbean. A part of the Netherlands Antilles until 2010, the team is a relatively recent entrant in to world football, having only joined CONCACAF in April of 2013. In spite of this, the team have already experienced some success on the Caribbean level, winning the 2011 edition of the ABCS Tournament (even though they had no FIFA or CONCACAF affiliation at that point).
